02Settling In
Your first 30 days
A move to Pune from another Indian city has less paperwork than an international move, but it still helps to do things in order. IKAN handles the steps with deadlines, so none of them is missed.
03Domestic & International Flights
The airport and flights
Pune International Airport (PNQ) flies to most Indian cities but has few international flights, mostly to the Gulf.
For long-haul, most people use Terminal 2 of CSMIA, Mumbai's main airport, 30 to 45 minutes away by air, or a faster Expressway drive now that the "Missing Link" is open. The new Navi Mumbai International Airport is another option, around 110 km and a 2-2.5 hour drive from Pune. Many Pune residents book through-tickets that connect at CSMIA. Domestic links from PNQ are strong, with most major Indian metros within ~2.5 hours (Kolkata is 2h 35m).
